At Lumi Psychology, we provide secure 50-minute online individual therapy sessions via telehealth (phone or video), offering private and accessible care by appointment.
The rebate amount under Medicare from July 2025 is $98.95
You can access a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from you GP which enables you to access up to 10 Medicare claimable sessions per calendar year.
Please ensure your referral is addressed to Lumi Psychology.
*The recommended fee for an AAPi Psychologist is $330 for a 50 minute consultation, Lumi is priced well under this recommendation with a standard fee pre rebate of $255.00
If you need to change or cancel your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice to avoid a cancellation fee. Changes made within 48 hours will incur a 50% fee, and within 24 hours a full session fee applies. Non-attendance is treated as a late cancellation and subject to the full fee.
Some private health funds may offer rebates for psychology services. We recommend contacting your provider to confirm whether your plan includes this, and what portion of the fee you may be able to claim.
*Please note that Medicare and private health rebates can’t be used for the same session.
