Frequently Asked Questions

The psychologist will ask you to complete some forms and talk you through the treatment process. The psychologist will also ask you for your history and what led you to wanting to see a psychologist. All information collected by the psychologist is kept confidential and no-one else has access to your personal information. 

Saturday morning appointments are available via request. Session fees for Saturday appointments are $265 per 50 minutes.  

 It is difficult to answer this question as there are many factors that may be impacting on a person’s mental health. If you have any concerns, please speak with your psychologist at the time of your first appointment 

Psychologists are bound by a professional code of ethics. All data collected by the psychologist will be securely stored and is not accessible by anyone other than the psychologist. Disclosure will only occur if your records are subpoenaed by a court, failure to disclose information would place you or others at risk, or with your prior written approval.

Lumi is currently a telehealth practice, however it operates out of Sydney, Australia.

 Sessions are 50 minutes long  

A minimum of 48 hours must be given to change or cancel an appointment, otherwise fees apply. 

Communication with your psychologist in between sessions is limited. It is recommended to note down questions or important changes in that time to bring to sessions with your therapist.
